I thought going back to that topic that I would share this first hand account of a prominent woman from the late 19th Century, Silena Holman, and her struggles with David Lipscomb and others in the church at the time, regarding the role of women in the church.  She was President of the Tennessee Chapter of the Temperance Union, and elder's wife, and she was only the second woman portrayed in the Tennessee State Capitol.]]></description>
